ALIGHIERIDUO

Best known for their passionate interpretations of the romantic repertoire, the Alighieri Duo is a New York City based violin-piano duo which formed at the Manhattan School of Music in 2012, and soon after, invited to participate in the Swedish International Duo Competition that same year.  They have been featured as Triumph Music Festival’s guest artists at the Kimmel Center Academy of Music Ballroom, Settlement Music School in Philadelphia and the Strad for Lunch Series in New York. The duo keeps up a  performing schedule both virtually and in person, including performances on the Sonatenabend Recital Series at the Juilliard School, Islip Arts Council, Mallery Room Concert Series at Rutgers University, New Hampshire Music Festival and more.
